Meet Dr Mikhil Nathoo (Dentist)
“My childhood orthodontist inspired me to become a dentist after he was able to straighten my teeth after my brother pushed me off my bike as a kid!”
Education & Professional Development
To prepare for his career as a dentist, Dr Mikhil earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Sydney in 2019. While at university, Dr Mikhil won the coveted Professor Noel Martin Memorial Prize in Dentistry and made the University of Sydney Honour Roll.
He also was awarded the Vice Chancellor’s Global Mobility Scholarship, which allowed him to study at the University of Osaka in Japan.
Dr Mikhil also earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Melbourne in 2014.
So he can stay abreast of the latest in dentistry, Dr Mikhil regularly takes continuing education courses. These include ones on anterior veneers and posterior crowns. “I’m especially interested in treating patients from start to finish over their lifetimes.”
Providing Comfortable Care to Patients
Dr Mikhal is an extremely caring and gentle dentist who wants to help nervous patients relax and have an enjoyable dental experience.
I sometimes have patients come in scared or in pain and then see them leave feeling happier and confident with no pain.”
Outside the Office
When he’s not caring for his patients’ smiles, Dr Mikhal likes to play tennis and golf and catch up with friends. He also loves spending time with his beautiful Cavoodle named Dolce (after the chocolate, not the brand!).
